Groove Hits 20,000 Games And The Number Is Only Part of The Story
We surpassed 15,000 titles just two years ago, and now we have over 20,000 games available in Groove's Library that have been provided by over 150 providers with the simplicity of one API, one back office and one pipeline.
No doubt, 20 000 games are significant. However, the aggregation industry has a complicated relationship with big numbers, and we think it’s worth being honest about what separates a milestone that means something from one that isn’t large…
Scale With A Filter
The majority of aggregators view total volume produced as the goal or achievement. At Groove, we do not see that as what the end goal should be. The addition of twenty thousand titles does not just happen to have a count added together; rather, it’s where the next step of a measured, continual plan is to determine who makes the library and for what reasons.
This library encompasses gaming types such as: slots, instant win products, table games, crash games, live dealer games, arcade-type gaming experiences, and new gaming categories (sweepstakes and crypto-native). All titles are completely integrated and approved for use throughout the regulated gaming markets of Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
However, the defining characteristic of the library is not the number of titles, but rather that each title in the library has been approved by the studio that produces it.
Rachel Tourgeman - Head of Partnerships at Groove, states it very simply: "Twenty thousand games are just a number. What is behind that number is what is important. We do not add studios based on sheer volume; we add studios based on the fact that there is something unique about what they bring to the table; either through mechanical features, graphical presentation, or player engagement methods that we cannot provide our operators using other studios. Our partners are dependent on us to curate; not just to accumulate. The reason we have continued to grow, and the quality/quantity curves continue to grow as well, is because of that trust."
What the Last Year Looked Like
The pathway to reaching 20,000 came from the addition of products that not only passed the actual commercial exam (technical suitability) but were also clearly different from existing products in 'crowded' markets of competitors.
The newer integrations include:
- KingMidas Games, with over 150 games developed for mobile play
- Urgent Games, with fast-paced, dynamic gameplay built to retain players longer
- Bryogames, with statistical probability machinery that connects to the operators' ability to offer real-time RTP to their players based on what has occurred in-game.
While these studios provide three very different products, they were selected for one reason - to provide operators with unique products that they cannot easily find anywhere else.
Putting 20 000 Titles to Work - What Operators Get
Reaching the milestone is different from supporting operators to use it.
Operators can now access the full casino games library via Groove - our back office platform. Through that, operators will be able to perform data-driven match-making, regionally segmenting and automating tournament tooling; enabling gaming volume to become a true competitive leverage rather than simply a number on a product page.
The library covers all of the regulated markets in Europe, Latin America and Asia. It consists of all live (real money) content types including slots; table games; instant wins; crash games; live dealers; arcade games; sweepstakes; and crypto-native content. The entire library is live, accessible via our back office and designed to be deployed with full accuracy instead of bin dumping content on the homepage and expecting it to perform. The goal is not to have 20,000 options. The goal is to have 1 option that will always be ready.
Where We Go From Here
When we asked Yahale Meltzer, Co-Founder and CEO of Groove, for his thoughts on this moment:
"20,000 games across a single API is more than just scale - it's a statement. Groove has established itself as the default engine ("Go-to") for operators looking to move fast, compete intelligently and never have to sacrifice depth of content. And we will continue to build on this momentum, the next 20,000 games will be even more curated, integrated and aligned with the direction of player behaviour. Volume without curation = noise we are creating.
He is right, the standard has changed. Operators now expect more than just a large game library and a fast integration; they expect structural resilience, data intelligence and a partner who can successfully navigate multiple, fragmented regulatory markets. The 20,000-game library answers the content side of things; Groove's technology stack (predictive auto-scaling, atomic transactions and real-time compliance mesh) can support the rest.
Tourgeman summed it up exactly how we would like to close:
"We have developed a content ecosystem which scales without breaking; curates without bottlenecking; and delivers without compromise."
